I have been a practicing psychotherapist and counsellor in south and central Edinburgh for the past 10 years.

I am genuinely interested in helping my clients resolve issues that are holding them back in life and I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can tell your story, and we can explore together your thoughts and feelings and help you to gain a better understanding of who you are.

Often clients do not know what they want from therapy when they first come. You may just feel unhappy, unfulfilled, restless, but something will have brought you here and this could be the start of a journey of discovery and understanding.

I believe in the significance of our unconscious patterns, as well as conscious ones, and I work relationally, keeping the relationship at the heart of the work

It is my belief that early relationships and attachment patterns have a profound effect on how we interact with each other in the here and now and that therapy can help you to break free of repeated and harmful patterns of behaviour which keep you locked into these relationship patterns, allowing you, over time, to form more intimate and meaningful relationships.

I work with both individuals and couples, and the issues that my clients bring include Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Panic attacks, Trauma, Abuse, Self Harm, Suicidal thoughts, Bereavement, Personality disorders, Bipolar disorder
